This Privacy Policy explains what information SlabWorthie (“SlabWorthie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SlabWorthie you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Images you upload. The card photos and scans you submit are processed to produce centering and surface estimates and are stored with the resulting report so you can view it later.
• Reports and notes. Estimates we generate, plus any optional details you add to the submission tracker (for example a declared value or status label), are saved to your account.
• Technical data. Basic information needed to keep you signed in (an HttpOnly session cookie) and to operate and secure the service, such as server logs.

What we do not do

SlabWorthie does not identify your cards, look up market prices, or sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded images to train models for third parties.

How we use information

• To generate and display your pre-grading estimates and reports.
• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To send service-related email, such as account verification.
• To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the service.
• To process payments for paid plans (see below).

Service providers

We share information only with the vendors needed to run SlabWorthie, and only as required to provide the service:

• Email delivery for transactional messages such as verification emails.
• Payment processing (Stripe) for paid plans. Your card details are handled by the payment processor; we do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
• Hosting and infrastructure used to run the application and store your data.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in; this cookie is required for the app to work and is not used for tracking. With your consent, we and third parties may also use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. You can review or change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer.

Advertising

We may show third-party advertising on SlabWorthie, including through Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and others. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to SlabWorthie and/or other sites on the Internet.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
• If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential (analytics or advertising) cookies, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing are performance of our contract with you, your consent (for non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. If you are a California resident, we do not “sell” your personal information for money; you may opt out of personalized advertising as described above. Data retention

We keep your account information, images, and reports for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual saved reports from your account at any time, and deleting a report removes its stored images. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

You can update or delete your reports from within the app, and you can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us at [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Children

SlabWorthie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
